Search teams recovered the body of a 59-year-old woman Saturday afternoon from Crystal Lake after a passerby reported an object floating in the water, Wakefield police said in a statement. Wakefield firefighters and police responded to the lake around 2 p.m. and pulled the woman’s body from the water near Linden Avenue, the statment said. Police did not identify the woman. Her cause of death remains under investigation, but the police statement said there is no reason to believe the public is in any danger.
