Boston is the third most expensive United States cities for renters with a whooping average rent of $3,190 a month, according to a study by ApartmentList.com.
But if you head away from Downtown and Back Bay, you can get more square footage for your rental check. We ranked the city’s neighborhoods based on the average rent per square foot.
The data was compiled by the real estate website Jumpshell using public information from RentMetrics.
