English, a Swampscott resident, allegedly drove her car into an unidentified pedestrian on Magnolia Road in the North Shore town Tuesday around 7:30 p.m.

The victim was transported to North Shore Medical Center in Salem with serious injuries that were not life-threatening, according to Blodgett̢۪s office.
