Vampire Weekend performing at the 2013 SXSW Music Festival in Austin, Texas on March 16. The band will be taking the stage at the Boston Calling Music Festival on Saturday, Sept. 7.
The Boston Calling Music Festival will be returning to the Hub for two-days of festival fun at City Hall Plaza Sept. 7-8.
Twenty live performances will hit the stage throughout the weekend event, featuring the likes of Vampire Weekend, Passion Pit, Kendrick Lamar, and Major Lazer. The festival will also have a host of local food vendors as well as two beer gardens on hand.

Festival details
Rain or shine, Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 7-8, at City Hall Plaza in Boston. Box office opens at 11 a.m., gates open at noon. Music stops at 10:30 p.m.
Ticket information
Single day, general admission tickets are $75, two-day passes are $130. VIP tickets are $185 for one day and $350 for the weekend, but are limited to people ages 21 and over. Children 10 and under are free. Tickets can be purchased at www.bostoncalling.com/tickets.
Parking and transportation
The Boston Calling Music Festival is accessible by multiple MBTA stations. Attendees taking the "T" should get off at the following stops depending on what line is taken:
Orange Line - Haymarket or State
Green Line - Government Center
Blue Line - State Street
Red Line - Park Street
Parking is available at garages surrounding City Hall Plaza, but the preferred parking garage of the festival is at the Government Center Garage at 50 New Sudbury St. The garage will be offering discounted parking during the Boston Calling Music Festival for $15 if purchased in advance. Government Center Garage parking passes are limited in quantity, but are available at tdgarden.clickandpark.com/event.

Food vendor highlights
A number of food vendors will be on hand for attendees to check out. Here are a few highlights:
-Tasty Burger will serve up grass fed burgers.
-American Flatbread Pizza Kitchen will have wood-fired flatbread pizza slices and organic salad on hand.
-Roxy’s Grilled Cheese will offer multiple styles of grilled cheese sandwiches as well as truffle fries.
-Kickass Cupcakes will have desserts available, including cupcakes, ice cream sundaes, and coffee.
-The Chicken & Rice Guy will serve halal chicken, lamb gyros and more.
-The Sausage Guy will serve pulled pork sandwiches, burritos, and hamburgers.
-Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options will also be available at various vendor booths.
Beer garden lineup
The festival will have beer gardens set up in the 21+ section as well as in the VIP area and will feature beverages from Sierra Nevada, Lagunitas, Ommegang, Carlsberg, Crispin, and Wicked Wines.
