Car drives through Venice Beach crowd: 1 dead, 11 hurt


Los Angeles police arrested a man on suspicion of intentionally driving into crowds on the Venice Beach boardwalk, where one person was killed and 11 were injured. Nathan Campbell, 38, has been booked for investigation of murder and is jailed on $1 million bail. A coroner’s investigator told City News Service that the victim killed was 32-year-old Alice Gruppioni of Italy.
