It's been said that Paul Pierce grew up quite a bit during his time in Boston, learning many things about life and basketball along the way.
One thing he didn't learn, however, was how to speak with a Boston accent. Courtesy of Dish Network's Talk Boston campaign, here's evidence:
Next Pierce will have to learn to talk New York, as he heads to Brooklyn to chase a second championship -- and to eat "peetsir," apparently -- he leaves the accent ambassadorship to Vince Wilfork. He's a bit better at it; still forced, still over the top, but believable in some uses.
