An increase of people in the Latino population has also begun to change the political landscape of some towns. City councils are now voicing more Latino concerns.

Several towns have also begun to create events to help bring the Latino population together. Marlborough has started offering “English and Exercise” classes. The community also held Portuguese festival for the Brazilian community.
