Everybody Loves Peavy.... should be a new sitcom here.... it's overwhelming positive. Most think Iglesias was playing over his head offensively, was in a slump, and had 24 infield singles.... the defense is spectacular, but the Sox have a shortstop (Drew) and one superstar-in-waiting (Boegarts)... Peavy is the the type of big game pitcher that should do well here if healthy... The Sox can surpass the Rays because they have a cupcake schedule for much of the month of August... playing a boatload of sub-.500 teams and by the time they come around to the Jays and Yankees at the end of the month, those teams may be just playing out the string... now the Rays schedule is fairly easy as well, but I can see the Red Sox creating some separation by the time September rolls around... not sold on Rays offense (hello James Loney, old friend)...
