"Glee" actress Lea Michele was interviewed for the August issue of Marie Claire Mexico five weeks before her cast mate and boyfriend Cory Monteith, 31, unexpectedly passed away. And in the interview she talks about their relationship.
Here are two things Michele said about Monteith in the interview, courtesy of marieclaire.co.uk (Photo: by Jordan Strauss/Invision/AP, file):
[Cory] is the best person I know, he has made my life so incredible, and I am so thankful for him and not only to have him as a partner but also as a co-worker.
It is important to have someone that supports you and encourages you, someone that makes you feel that you are unstoppable, that you can do anything in the world because you have him.
According to marieclaire.co.uk, Monteith was with Michele on her photo shoot for the magazine and it's believed to be one of the last times they were together before he died. And Ariadne Grant, the editor-in-chief of the magazine, said the couple looked happy and in love.
The magazine, with Michele on the cover, will still be published as planned. However, the words "The Show Must Go On" will appear beside her image.
Get the details on how Michele and the rest of the cast came together yesterday to pay tribute to Monteith at a memorial on the Paramount studio lot where "Glee" is filmed in this People.com report. More than 150 people attended, all wearing black ribbons.
Here is a statement from Fox about the memorial:
Today, Ryan Murphy and Lea Michele gathered the cast, crew and producers of Glee, along with colleagues from the network and studio, to share memories and music in an emotional celebration of the life of Cory Monteith. We thank the public for their continued outpouring of love and support as we grieve our friend and colleague during this difficult time.
It was "an emotional celebration," reports the Associated Press.
Monteith was well-liked by his cast mates. Read how they reacted on Twitter after his death.
"Glee" will begin its fifth season Sept. 26, a week later than originally planned.
