Patriots coach Bill Belichick will address the media Wednesday for the first time since the team's minicamp in June and the first time since former Patriot Aaron Hernandez's arrest in connection with the death of a Dorchester man.
Belichick is expected to address the topic of Hernandez, whom the Patriots cut ties with after the tight end was arrested and charged with the murder of Odin Lloyd, a semi-professional football player.
Hernandez has since been connected with two other separate shootings, including the 2012 double homicide of two men in Boston. He's expected to appear in court today for a hearing.
Belichick's news conference begins at 1:45 p.m. Patriots.com is planning to live-stream the event at this link.
