Simon Cowell, the reality TV judge known for his harsh honesty, was egged during the finale of his show, "Britain's Got Talent."
A woman rushed forward and started chucking eggs at the judges in the middle of a song performed by contestants Richard and Adam Johnson. Cowell then took off his jacket.
Who was the woman? She is 30-year-old Natalie Holt, either an instrumentalist in the orchestra, according to the E! News video report above, or a backup singer, according to this other E! News report. (We'll keep you posted if we find out more on that.)
Whatever her role in the show, she's now serving up an apology for her actions. Holt has released this statement: "I want to apologize to Richard and Adam for overshadowing their performance. I've never done anything like this before and in hindsight I have realized it was a silly thing to do."
