Attorney: Paris Jackson hospitalized but OK

Paris Jackson, the late Michael Jackson's 15-year-old daughter, was taken to the hospital early Wednesday morning, according to her grandmother's attorney, Perry Sanders, Jr. He added that she is "physically fine" in a statement to the Associated Press.

‘‘Being a sensitive 15 year old is difficult no matter who you are," Sanders said. "It is especially difficult when you lose the person closest to you. Paris is physically fine and is getting appropriate medical attention. Please respect her privacy and the family’s privacy.’’

There are no confirmed details right now as to why she was at the hospital, but BBC Breaking reported via Twitter that Paris tried to commit suicide.

Earlier today, Paris posted a pair of tweets that may have been a call for help, one questioning why tears are salty, and the second quoting the Beatles' classic, "Yesterday."

Paris tweeted a photo of herself last week with a short-cropped pixie cut (different from the long hair in the photo above), giving the peace sign with a Guns N' Roses lyric from "Paradise City."
