With the Red Sox’ 2013 season already half over, the team is surprisingly right in the pennant race in the American League. After a forgettable 2012 campaign that they finished with their worst record since the mid-1960s, the Red Sox have given fans new hope this season. But the season is far from over, and this team can make some improvements, especially in the starting and relief pitcher departments, before the MLB trade deadline July 31.
