Harvard University announced on Tuesday, July 16 that it will honor New York based rapper Nas with the Nasir Jones Hip-Hop Fellowship at its W.E.B. Du Bois Institute.
In conjunction with the Ivy League school’s Hip-Hop Archive, which was established at the Cambridge university in 2002, the fellowship will aid students who excel in the arts ‘‘in connection with hip-hop.’’
