Accompanied by his relatives, authorities today plan to disclose new information about the 1992 disappearance of James âœJamieâ Lusher, who was 16 years old when he last seen riding his bike in his hometown of Westfield.
Lusherâ™s relatives will join Hampden District Attorney Mark Mastroianni, Berkshire District Attorney David Capeless, State Police Colonel Timothy Alben, and Westfield Police Captain Michael McCabe at a press conference at Westfield Middle School today.
The press event is set for 11 a.m.
Lusher was last seen riding on his bike on Holyoke Road near his home on Nov. 6, 1992. His bike was found a week later in a wooded area on the other side of Westfield, authorities have said.
Authorities and his family have made multiple searches for Lusher during the past 20 years, but without success.
