Anna Chlumksy and husband Shaun So welcomed their first baby, Penelope Joan So, on Thursday in New York City. The 32-year-old actress, who is known for her role in the 1991 flick "My Girl," told PEOPLE magazine, "She’s a really good mix between my husband and me. When she’s with him, you see him, and when she’s with me, you see me. She’s a perfect mix." Chlumsky and So, a Forbes contributor and military veteran, announced their engagement in 2007 and wed shortly after. The couple announced they were expecting in late March.
Chlumksy had a second reason to celebrate today: she received an Emmy nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her role as Amy Brookheimer on HBO's "Veep." The nominations were announced earlier this morning and the actress told E!, "When I got the call I wasn't sleeping because I was breastfeeding my daughter. It was neat because it was me and my husband and my daughter all in the room getting the news at the same time." Co-stars Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Tony Hale also received nods for their lead roles.
