PED users vs. the Red Sox

Major League Baseball suspended 13 players Monday, including three-time AL MVP Alex Rodriguez, for violating the league’s drug policy for their involvement with the Biogenesis clinic. The suspensions represent the latest performance enhancing drug scandal to hit baseball in the past several years.


The Red Sox are not immune to PED controversy – most notable was slugger David Ortiz’s name being included as one of 104 players who tested positive for steroids in a 2003 survey test – but the recent action got us thinking about how drug cheats have fared against the Red Sox.
